Standard Warranty Service

Synrad provides standard warranty service for its lasers, scanning heads, and accessories through a network of Synrad Service Centers (SSC) and Synrad Authorized Service Centers (SAC). Standard warranty service is performed by Laser Service Specialists using Synrad approved parts. When repairs are complete the unit (same serial#) is returned to the customer. 
Limited Warranty - Synrad warrants that its Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will conform to the Specifications for the periods set forth here:

  • Standard Product Warranty on Lasers and Components - One (1) year
  • All lasers rated at 100 Watts or above and all ti-Series lasers - Two (2) years
  • Synrad vi30+ - Two (2 years
  • Synrad 48-1 10W laser - Three (3) years

The term of each warranty commences on the date of shipment from Synrad’s facility in Mukilteo, Washington. Synrad will repair or replace, at its option and at its expense, a Product returned by the Buyer under a valid Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) issued by Synrad that is determined by Synrad to have a defect in materials and/or workmanship that makes it not in compliance with the Specifications. The warranty is void if the Product is damaged by misuse, mishandling, disassembly, improper installation, installation in a system with which it is not compatible, neglect, accident, modification, contamination, or testing or handling by any party not under the direct control of Synrad. All repairs are warranted for a period of six (6) months or the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is longer, for the repaired portion of the Product. Complete warranty details.


  Standard Warranty Coverage
Description Standard Warranty is a depot program*; if the unit requires service within the first 12 - 36 months (depending on model), the unit is sent to an Authorized Service Center (ASC) or Synrad Service Center (SSC) for service. The same unit is returned to the customer.

In addition to our standard warranty, Synrad offers Extended Warranty/Service Options that provide guaranteed turn-around times and a warranty on repairs. If an Extended Warranty/Service plan does not fit your needs, Synrad offers three (3) service options once the Standard Warranty Expires. While Synrad lasers are known to last many years, electronic components tend to become obsolete much faster, making repairs of older lasers costly, and in some cases impractical. Synrad recommends choosing one of our programs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal productivity for you and your customers.
